E-commerce website development projects.
As a UK based website developer, I understand the crucial role a website plays at every stage of the marketing funnel.
I do more than just build what you tell me to. I take into account the end-to-end customer journey, including SEO (helping your website appear in search results), UI/UX (how your website looks and functions for the customer), fulfilment (whether you're dispatching yourself, using dropship or providing a digital product) and automation (keeping your customer informed).

While I primarily specialise in Shopify ecommerce website development, I'm also able to build secure websites on other platforms - such as Squarespace (ideal for bloggers) and Wix (ideal for low cost brand websites). If you need a more technical website that requires extensive custom coding, Wordpress may be the best solution.
When quoting for your brand or ecommerce website development project, I'll recommend the best platform to suit your requirements and budget. We can also discuss any additional requirements. This may include domain purchase, SEO, content creation, image sourcing and logo design.

Huffkins Bakery.
Huffkins Bakery primarily required an e-commerce website to sell food products and luxury gifts for UK delivery. It was important to understand the customer's needs and support this. As a result, Huffkins' website functionality includes the option to choose a delivery date and add a personal message for gift orders.

The website also needed to showcase Huffkins' Cotswold and London tea rooms, offering visitors the option to browse the menu, find a location and make a booking.
As part of this Shopify website development project, I assisted Huffkins with a new fulfilment plan, implemented a highly successful SEO strategy and provided staff training videos.
Since 2019, I have continued to work with Huffkins, managing their Shopify website, SEO and digital marketing strategy.
Badibidu.
Sheffield based watercolour artist, Cat Regi, needed an e-commerce website for her brand, Badibidu.

I designed and built the Badibidu website on Shopify, implementing SEO and integrating with Cat's existing Contrado and Etsy stores. This integration meant that existing products could be pulled into Shopify directly, saving Cat time and money.

Other Badibidu website features include a digital product function, blog, page templates and wholesale product lock function. Cat also received Shopify training videos, allowing her to manage day-to-day tasks on the website herself.
As Badibidu's online business grows, I have continued to work with Cat on further enhancements and digital marketing support. This includes a new scheduler app integration, connected to Zoom, which allows Cat to sell online and in-studio workshop appointments alongside her physcial and digital art products!
Iconic Pooch.
I was hired to build this Shopify e-commerce website for a new dog accessories brand, launching in 2024.
The client wanted a professional, functional and stylish website to promote the brand and sell products online for UK delivery. In addition to the website build, domain configuration and copywriting, this project also included a content page template, review app installation and basic level SEO. Google Analytics and Search Console accounts were also created.

This was an incredibly fun brand to work with and, in my biased opinion, the website looks fantastic! You might say it's iconic!
Send With Love.
The Send With Love story touched my heart. The brand was born out of pure frustration at the lack of diversity and ethnic representation in greetings cards sold on the high street. As a result, the owner decided to launch their own range of cards to sell online.
The cards, mainly aimed at children, feature adorable illustrations that reflect the diversity of the world we live in. Furthermore, they're eco-friendly and affordable.
This Shopify website design and build project included a custom product page template to allow for card customisation. I also supported the client with styling, image editing, copywriting and Shopify training.
As a digital novice, simplicity and guidance were key for this client.

Your Cotswolds Link.
Your Cotswold Link originally had a very outdated Wordpress website which was neither secure nor functional. Owner Christine was keen to update this and greatly improve the functionality whilst making it easier to populate pages herself.
After an intial review, I recommended to Christine that we move to a dual purpose Shopify website which would meet all of her requirements:
-
Sell online and offline advertising subscriptions
-
Host an online business directory
-
Act as an information hub for locals
-
Offer a simple admin platform behind the scenes

Christine was a self-confessed internet novice, unfamiliar with the digital sphere. Support and regular communication was therefore highly important to this project. In addition to delivering a secure, responsive and fit-for-purpose website, I also provided Christine with a number of training videos and technical support.

DD Digital Marketing Services.
The website you're currently browsing was designed and built by me too. I needed a simple, responsive brand website to promote my freelance business, so Wix was the ideal platform.

My website includes a contact form, onsite search bar and the option to add a blog. There's also a huge number of apps available, allowing me to add more functionality in the future if I need it.

Wix is one of the best website builers out there for brands who need a simple, secure and low cost website to promote their business online.
